Director (f/m/div.) Supply Chain Management

Key Tasks:
  • responsible for planning, management and control of processes and projects in the field of Supply Chain Management
  • disciplinary management of the assigned personnel and control of external shared services
  • be an initiator for a future-proof orientation of the Supply Chain organization within the company
  • identify Supply Chain strategies and actions to leverage commercial opportunities
  • optimization of processes, performance and procedures regarding delivery times and on-time-performance
  • competence expansion of purchasing in the area of plant construction / project purchasing
  • manage working capital through an efficient deployment of inventory strategies and business process(es)
  • reduction of lifecycle and total cost of goods and services supplied
  • negotiation and professional interaction with suppliers
  • commercial / contractual support in the project handling phase
  • planning, management and control of the annual cost center budgets
  • evaluation of key figures in the field of SCM
  • implementation of training measures for the continuous development of the area
  • close cooperation with other departments
Education / Experience:
  • academic degree in economics or industrial engineering or equivalent
  • several years of international leadership experience in a comparable position preferable in the paper or nonwoven industry
  • in-depth experience in plant construction and project purchasing
  • knowledge of value stream analyses, TCO-calculations and expediting
  • experience in contract law and good technical understanding
  • SAP & MS Office
