Area Sales Manager (f/m/div.) Western Europe and USA

Company:
A leading manufacturer of reliable plastic packaging systems for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industry. 

Key Tasks:
  • acquisition and support of new and existing customers for plastic packaging in the industry segments food, pharmaceutical and chemicals in existing as well as new markets
  • responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy in Western Europe (Spain, Portugal, UK, Switzerland) and USA with responsibility for sales budgets, turnover and profitability
  • business development of new, innovative packaging solutions or further applications into new industries and markets
  • ensuring customer satisfaction as well as supporting claims handling
  • regularly reporting of sales information and -numbers in an ERP / CRM system
  • participation at regular sales meetings and involved in forecast- / budgeting process
  • determination of the customers quality requirements and packaging criteria and integration of those into specific internal processes
  • conduction of market analyses and customer satisfaction surveys to support marketing and monitoring of market developments
  • participation / visiting international trade fairs
Education / Experience:
  • technical or commercial degree
  • experiences in the plastics processing industry or in another process-oriented manufacturing industry
  • several years of experiences in a comparable role in sales or business development in Western Europe with turnover responsibility
  • intercultural competencies
