Head of Controlling and Accounting (f/m/div.)

• Financial controller acting as the head of accounting and controlling
• lead and supervise the areas of finance, financial reporting, business performance, safeguarding of the assets, general affairs and compliance
• during the transition phase from a local to a business structure of the cluster managing functionally the IT and purchasing department
• leading, motivating and inspiring the teams into a passionate, supporting and growth-focused team
• main contact for on-site business stakeholders on financial matters relating to the business like e.g. process control, cost control and financial reporting
• responsible for consolidating the annual accounts of business units for the site
• defining and supervising the implementation of the site financial strategy in accordance with the related guidelines with a view to supporting the site business operations and results achievement
• identify and address pro-actively business strategies, financial opportunities and tax models and strive for optimal solutions together with the applicable departments
• advise the upper management of any cause for concern in respect of the financial figures and present appropriate action plans
• manage the compliance framework at the site ensuring compliance with companies´ policies and controls
• manage internal audits from group and annual external year-end audit
• month-end closing & reporting including the corresponding reporting documents
• performing the year-end reporting including responsibility for the annual financial statements
• driving the quarterly rolling forecast and annual budgeting process comprising forecasting of P&L, cashflow and balance sheet

• university / academic degree is required, in a finance or business administration direction or similar
• extensive financial experience in an industrial international environment
• very good knowledge of HFM, SAP and Microsoft Office products
• outstanding skills with German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS accounting
• skills of Renewable Energy Levy (EEG) would be considered a plus
• used to work in a complex matrix organization
