Join the team as  Mill Manager (f/m/x), located close to wonderful beaches and amazing cultural highlights. Housing and car are part of the package.  


Key Tasks:
  • Optimize production while ensuring strict safety adherence, drive continuous improvement, and identify cost-saving opportunities. 
  • Analyze processes for optimization, develop profit-maximizing strategies, and lead teams to achieve efficiency goals. 
  • Implement transparent tracking processes for accountability and visibility, oversee workflow to streamline operations, and establish protocols for efficient issue resolution. 
  • Foster a culture of improvement and innovation, collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, and conduct regular performance evaluations. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and tech advancements to enhance efficiency and explore new markets. 
  • Maintain vendor relationships to optimize the supply chain and implement training programs for staff development. 
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols..  
Education / Experience:
  • Degree in paper technology, mechanical engineering, chemistry, process engineering or comparable education with relevant experience
  • Several years of experiences as Mill Manager or comparable in the paper and / or board industry
  • Ideally experience in the production of packaging papers from recycled papers
  • Experience in leading, developing and motivating teams
  • Experiences in (continuous improvement) project management 
  • Deep understanding of paper production processes

  • Excellent intercultural communication skills on all business levels 
  • Enhances transparency in this area of responsibility 
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead motivate and develop supervisors and employees while maintaining a good team spirit 
  • Ability to set up and monitor KPI’s and drive line performance in using them

Languages:
  • Must have: English on C1/C2 level written and spoken 
  • Greek language skills would be considered a plus 
  • Any other European language e. g. German would be considered a plus
