Technical Customer Service Manager Décor (f/m/x)

What are my tasks:
  • I support my customers and processors of decorative papers in all technical questions - quality, printing and processing processes, product optimization and development projects 
  • I support my sales team in achieving sales goals by providing customers with additional technical advice
  • Through my input, I ensure greater customer satisfaction and sustainable customer relationships 
  • I ensure constructive and goal-oriented communication and interaction between my customers and our internal specialist departments - Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, Quality Management and Production in our Paper Mills 
  • I recognize and understand customers' specific requirements for our products and ensure that these are implemented in our product portfolio 
  • I provide the impetus to develop the right products for current market trends and present them to my customers 
  • Through technical benchmarking and open collaboration with our high-quality research and development center, I support the development of innovative and promising products 
  • I process complaints, analyze the causes and work closely together to develop solutions   
  • As a representative of the company, I take part in conferences, meetings, industry events and trade fairs 
  • I aspire to be a technical expert in our industry and an important reference for our partner 
My profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a natural science subject 
  • Or alternative – Technician training in the process industry or process engineering 
  • Or - Master training in the field of printing technology
  • I have in-depth expertise in the printing industry related to decorative surface materials 
  • Or alternative - I have many years of experience in technical marketing, paper technology, R&D or TCS management in the decorative paper industry 
  • I have a good understanding of technical issues and quick comprehension 
  • I work in a self-motivated and solution-oriented manner 
  • I have excellent communication and networking skills and am used to working in a multicultural context 
  • I really enjoy working directly with customers and I can adapt very flexibly to external circumstances 
  • I have a high level of motivation and commitment to team results, top performance and performance orientation 
  • I work well organized and am able to prioritize activities to achieve client and business objectives 
  • I am willing to travel, even if it takes up more than 30% of my working time 
  • I have good IT skills – proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
