Production Manager (f/m/x)

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of self-adhesive labels located in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The company serves clients across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, and food sectors. The company offers a wide range of products, such as self-adhesive labels, multi-layer labels, booklets, and cross-industry solutions.  


Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach the production team (printers, operators, logistics, prepress etc.) 
  • Create and monitor production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines 
  • Oversee an efficient workflow and optimize production processes 
  • Ensure quality control of the produced labels according to specified standards in cooperation with the QA manager
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to increase productivity and quality 
  • Manage the inventory of raw materials and the logistics related to production 
  • Analyze production data and report to management on performance, bottlenecks, and potential improvements
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Procurement, and Technical departments to discuss production requirements and issues 
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies

    • Education / Experience:
    • minimum of an bachelor or master degree, preferably in a technical or graphic field 
    • proven experience in a similar managerial role within the printing or production environment 
    •  knowledge of printing techniques, particularly in label production, is a strong advantage 
    Personal Characteristics:
    • very hands on mentality  
    • strong analytical and result-oriented mindset, with a focus on quality and efficiency 
    • excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach the team 
    • proactive attitude and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment 
    Languages:
    • German on native speaker level
